MTA Teams Up with Andrei Chuzhakin, One of Russia’s Top Interpreters, to Hold Seminar on Interpretation and Interpreters’ Shorthand

This time, the veteran interpreter was assisted by Thomas McLeod, who is an Australian linguist and a graduate student of ISIT (Paris, France). Being a native English speaker, Thomas provided a lot of useful information. The seminar was a practical training session on consecutive translation, interpreters’ shorthand and a chance to exchange experience. Attendees included leading interpreters from Novatek (for the second time), TMK, LGOK, Norilsk Nickel, Aсron and other Russian and multinational companies.
